Yakitori Donburi from A Mama, Baby & Shar-pei in the Kitchen
A quick and easy weeknight meal that has all of the comfort of a very popular Japanese street food called “yakitori” which literally translated means “grilled chicken;” and made a “donburi” out of it, which means any kind of protein atop a bowl of rice.
Smothered Pork Chops from The Life and Loves of Grumpy’s Honeybunch
Seasoned pork chops are smothered in a flavorful onion gravy and served over a bed of rice or mashed potatoes. Comfort food in the middle of the week: it doesn’t get much better than this!
Lemon Pepper Chicken & Pasta from Momma’s Meals
This comforting dish will satisfy the whole family and the lemon pepper seasoning steals the dish! The sauce is creamy and delicious, yet healthy.
Bessara (Moroccan Bean Soup) from eating in instead
In Morocco, Bessara is a popular soup made with dried, split, fava beans, and traditionally takes at least an hour and a half of slow simmering. This 30-minute version of Bessara is made with canned white beans and chick peas. Paired with a side salad, or alone, this makes a hearty lunch or an easy #WeekdaySupper.
