Weekday Supper Menu for the week of January 26–30
It’s the final week of January; hopefully after four weeks of amazing lightened up inspiration you are ready to tackle the rest of the year with healthy and wholesome recipes for your Weekday Suppers! This week our tastemakers are bringing five more fabulous dishes to the family table that you are absolutely going to love! Sandwiches, soups, salads: we have it all covered!
Take a look at the menu for this week:
Asian Peanut Noodles with Chicken from Recipes, Food, and Cooking
This tasty Asian Peanut Noodles with Chicken can be put together in the time it takes to go out and pick up take out. You can make this dish with Hong Kong noodles or rice noodles, your choice. This peanut sauce is delicious with the chicken, fresh vegetables, and noodles. It is ready in 30 minutes or less!
Sanma Teriyaki from A Mama, Baby, and Shar-Pei in the Kitchen
It’s that time of year where sanma (pacific saury or pike makerel) are making appearances in fish markets around the world and being such an inexpensive but filling and super tasty fish, its hard not to indulge in these beauties! Combine this luscious homemade teriyaki sauce with the meaty, lean flavor of the sanma and you have yourself a pretty tasty meal!
Lighter Turkey Reuben from Feed Me, Seymour
Eating light – and well – doesn’t always mean complete deprivation. These turkey Reubens are lighter than the average Reuben but every bit as tasty and satisfying.
Chicken with Lemon and Olives from eating in instead
This recipe is inspired by traditional Moroccan flavors. It’s one of my favorite recipes because it’s good enough for dinner guests and takes just 40 minutes to make. This dish pairs wonderfully with a side of rice, pasta, bread, or even sautéed spinach.
Milk Poached Cod from Nik Snacks
In 20 minutes or less have a simple, elegant meal with flaky cod bathed in a buttery milk bath, crisp greens accented with strips of smoky roasted red pepper.
