1/4 cup beef stock
1 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons ginger paste
1/2 teaspoon chili pepper paste
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons canola oil, divided
12 ounces boneless sirloin or strip steak, trimmed and cut into 1/4-inch strips
1 pound medium asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
1/3 cup chopped green onions
