It's so easy!

Even a total beginner to baking will find this recipe easy. It’s as simple as it gets!

Flour Bowl

Cut the strawberries and toss with sugar. Crush them, and place in the fridge until ready to use.

1

Preheat oven to 400°F. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to a bowl. Whisk to combine.

2

Add cold butter. Toss to coat all the pieces, and rub until coarse crumbs form.

3

Mix an egg, yogurt, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Beat to combine.

4

Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and add the liquid. Mix with a spatula.

5

Scoop the dough onto a lined baking sheet. Sprinkle the top with turbinado sugar.

6

Bake for 17 minutes. Remove from the oven and transfer onto a wire rack to cool.

7

Chill a mixing bowl and add whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until it forms stiff peaks.

8

Cut the shortcakes in half. Add cream, and strawberries. Replace the top portion of the biscuit and enjoy!
