Best Gluten-Free Au Gratin Potatoes

Yukon Gold Potatoes Unsalted butter Garlic freshly minced Heavy whipping cream Gruyere cheese Unsalted butter cubes Fresh thyme Kosher salt Cracked black pepper

It's so easy!

It's easy and bursting with flavor from creamy garlic potatoes and a cheesy crust!

Flour Bowl

Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in a skillet. When melted, remove from heat and add garlic. Stir the garlic around.


Spread half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom. Top with heavy cream, Gruyere cheese, salt, pepper, half of the cubed butter, and thyme.


The next layer add remaining potatoes, cream, salt, pepper, butter, and thyme, finishing up with the remaining cheese on top.


Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and continue to bake for 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
