Baked Cheesy


- 3/4 lb Portobello mushrooms - 1 clove garlic - 2 Tbsp olive oil - 1/2 Tsp dried thyme - 1/2 Tbsp butter - 1 Tbsp grated parmesan  - 3 Tbsp mozzarella - Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wipe the Portobello mushrooms clean and remove the stems. Finely chop or mince the garlic.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together the oil, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper. Divide the mixture between the mushrooms, drizzling over the inside.

Step 3

Top each mushroom with a thin slice of butter, and bake for 15 minutes.

Step 4

After 15 minutes, top the mushrooms with cheese and return to the oven for about 5 minutes until cheese is melty and golden.
