Steak pizzaiola is a traditional Italian recipe in the Neapolitan style. The name essentially means “meat in pizza style”.

Generously season tenderized steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat oil in a skillet. Once hot, add the steak and sear until browned on each side. Then, set the steak aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, add more oil, then add garlic, onion, and bell peppers. Cook for a few minutes until soften.
Add tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and water. Stir well.
Bring to a simmer, then add your steaks back into the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes on each side.
Top with parsley and cheese if using. Enjoy!
