Set Instant Pot to saute mode. Add olive oil. Once hot, add ham and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add onion, garlic, carrots and celery. Cook and stir frequently.
Add in chicken broth and potatoes. Stir to mix.
Lock the lid back in place and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
Carefully release the pressure and remove the lid.
Mix in heavy cream while stirring. Season with salt and pepper, serve, and enjoy!
