Levain Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookies

– 2 sticks unsalted butter cold – ½ cup lightly packed brown sugar – ½ cup granulated white sugar – 2 large eggs – 1 tsp. vanilla – 1½ cup cake flour – 1½ cup all-purpose flour – 1 tsp. cornstarch – 1 tsp. baking soda – 1 tsp. salt – 2 cups walnuts  – 2 cups chocolate chunks

 Ingredients

Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Add butter to a bowl and beat with electric mixer until fluffy. Scrape down the sides.

Add brown sugar and white sugar and continue to beat until mixed through. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Add eggs and vanilla and beat until mixed through and smooth.

Add cake flour and mix. Then, add all-purpose flour and mix through. Finally, mix in cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Add chocolate chunks and walnuts and mix with your spatula until evenly distributed through the dough.

Measure your dough into 6 oz. balls.Place on baking sheets and bake for 14 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Remove from the oven and let them rest 15 minutes so they have time to set
