Super Cheesy


- 3 Tbsp butter - 3 Tbsp flour - 2 cups whole milk - 1 cup heavy cream - 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese  - 1 Tsp seasoned salt - 1/2 Tsp pepper - 6 medium Yukon gold potatoes  - 1 small onion sliced - Salt to taste

Step 1

Melt butter in a large saute pan over medium high heat. Add flour, whisking until a thick paste forms. Slowly add in milk, and heavy cream, whisking until thick. Add in cheese, seasoned salt, and pepper, mix well.

Step 2

Place half the potatoes and onions in a baking dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Cover with half of the cheese sauce. Add remaining potatoes and onions with another sprinkle of salt and pepper. Top with remaining sauce.

Step 4

Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour on 350 degrees. Uncover and add a layer of cheese on top, bake again for 10 minutes until melted and a little browned.
