This reverse sear recipe is the best ever and is so delicious for the holidays!

You will need...

Boneless beef rib roast Sea salt  Black pepper Unsalted beef stock Red wine  Vegetable oil All-purpose flour Sprigs of fresh herbs

My Instant Pot Prime Rib Roast is as easy as it gets and delicious, too!

Flour Bowl

Score the fat cap of a boneless beef rib roast.


Generously season all over with salt and pepper. Give it a good coating.


Place the trivet in the Instant Pot. Place roast in the trivet. Add beef stock, red wine and herbs.


Lock lid and make put vent is in “sealing” position. Choose low pressure, and set the timer for 5 minutes.


Leave the roast in for 30 more minutes.


Insert a meat thermometer. It should read 115°F.  Remove the roast from the pot.


Strain the liquids from the pot and reserve them into a cup.


Remove the trivet. Select the highest saute setting. Add oil to the pot and sear the prime rib on all sides.


Insert the meat thermometer to check if it's to your desired degree of doneness. Remove and let it rest.


Add the strained liquids back to the pot, then add flour and stir to make a gravy.


Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
