Unsalted butter Peeled and sliced carrots Brown sugar Maple syrup Salt and pepper Parsley for garnish (optional)
Melt butter over medium heat. Add carrots, brown sugar, maple syrup, salt and pepper.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are tender and the sauce is a glaze.
The glaze will thicken more after you take it off the heat. Top with parsley if desired.
