Ingredients

  • 1 lb. strawberries or more, depending on how many you want to freeze

Instructions

  • Clean the strawberries: Rinse the strawberries in a colander and pat dry with a paper towel.

  • Cut off the leaves and stems: No need to keep these on when freezing.

  • Place strawberries on a baking sheet: Place berries in a single layer on a baking sheet in the freezer until frozen, which prevents the strawberries from sticking together.

  • Transfer to a ziplock bag: Transfer to a baggie until ready to use in all your favorite recipes, like strawberry shortcake ice cream cake. Enjoy!
