Ham Salad Recipe

My classic Ham Salad Recipe uses simple ingredients, including leftover ham, and is ready to enjoy in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs
  • ¼ cup sweet relish
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons celery diced
  • 2 Tablespoons green onion plus more for garnish, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add diced ham and sliced hard-boiled eggs to a food processor or blender. Pulse for several seconds until it reaches a smoothly chopped consistency (similar to chicken or tuna salad).

  • Place the ham and egg mixture in a bowl and add mayonnaise, dijon mustard, sweet relish, diced celery, green onions, and honey. Mix together until fully incorporated, smooth, and creamy.

  • Finally, add salt and pepper. Serve with crackers or on sandwiches with extra green onions for garnish and lemon wedges to squeeze over top, and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you don't have any leftover ham, your favorite deli ham is a great substitute.
  • You can use a food processor or blender to chop the ham salad. The consistency should be similar to chicken or tuna salad.
  • For extra flavor, top with some crispy bacon bits. I love using spicy-sweet Candied Bacon to top my ham salad recipe.
