Ingredients

Spicy Butter Board

  • 1 stick unsalted butter softened (equal to ½ cup/8 Tablespoons/113 grams)
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon hot honey
  • 1 pinch flaky salt

Compound Butter Board

  • 1 stick compound butter softened (equal to ½ cup/8 Tablespoons/113 grams)
  • ½ teaspoon green goddess seasoning
  • 6 slices pickled red onions
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves removed

Sweet Butter Board

  • 1 stick unsalted butter softened (equal to ½ cup/8 Tablespoons/113 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons apple maple bacon jam
  • 1 teaspoon date nectar or honey
  • cup candied pecans chopped
  • 1 edible flower

Lemon Butter Board

  • 1 stick lemon butter softened (equal to ½ cup/8 Tablespoons/113 grams)
  • ½ teaspoon roasted garlic seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves removed
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Spicy Butter Board

  • Layer your butter in swirls on a serving dish.

Notes

  • I recommend using unsalted butter for your butter board as your toppings may contain salt, as your board will be too salty.
  • Using softened, room temperature butter is best, but if you're in a rush, warm a glass under hot water and place it over the cold butter.
  • For easy cleanup, line your serving tray with parchment paper.
