Ham Glaze
1cuphoney
½cupunsalted butter(1 stick)
½cupbrown sugar
1Tablespoongarlic powder
½Tablespoonfreshly cracked black pepper
For Baking Ham
1cupchicken brothfor basting; see notes
Instructions
First Baking
Preheat oven to 325°F. Place the ham cut-side down on a pan and tent with foil. Bake for 1 hour. As it bakes, prepare your glaze!

Making Glaze
Melt the butter in the microwave or in a small saucepan. Once fully melted, add the rest of the glaze ingredients, and mix thoroughly until combined.
1 cup honey, ½ cup unsalted butter, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon garlic powder, ½ Tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper
Glazing
Carefully remove roasting pan from oven after an hour, leaving the oven on. Remove foil, and brush the outside of the ham with glaze.
Separate each slice of ham with tongs or a fork and brush glaze between every slice.
Final Baking
Pour 1 cup ofchicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan, then return the pan to the oven uncovered. Bake an additional 30 minutes, then remove and serve!

Ham is almost always entirely pre-cooked, so the method of heating it up comes down to what you have time for and access to. All cooking methods will work perfectly!
It's absolutely critical to pay attention to when ham needs to be covered or uncovered. This will ensure moist meat that doesn't dry out.
Cooking a different type of ham than the one listed? Don't worry- just adjust the cook time for each type of ham. Bone-in will take roughly 30% longer to cook, while smaller hams will heat up faster!
