Place the eggs at the bottom of your air fryer in one layer. Don't stack any eggs.
Set the air fryer to 275°F and cook for 16 minutes. Then, remove the eggs.
Cool them by placing them in an ice bath or under cold running water. Handle them carefully with tongs as they will be hot, or allow them to cool to the touch before moving them to the ice bath. Placing them in the ice bath will help them peel more easily.
Notes
Store bought eggs peel much more easily and cleanly than fresh farm eggs.
The eggs will be very hot when coming out of the air fryer. Let them cool before handling, or use tongs.
Don't stack your eggs in the air fryer. Make sure they are all in a single layer.
If your eggs have raised spots after cooking, this is normal.
You can use as many eggs as your air fryer will allow in a single layer. Don't change the time or temperature.
Start small and adjust the timing to see what's perfect for your air fryer model and what doneness you prefer.
You can adjust the timing depending on your desired doneness for hard boiled eggs from anywhere between 13 and 17 minutes.
Don't skip cooling the eggs under water or with an ice bath. This process stops the eggs from cooking further and helps make them easier to peel.
If your air fryer model doesn't have a basket, use a mesh or grill rack.
