Preheat the oven to 350°F.In a bowl, whisk together ½ cup brown sugar, ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper, and ½ tsp. salt. Thoroughly combine.
In a separate bowl, beat 1 egg with ½ tsp. garlic powder. Grease the inside of your baking dish with cooking spray.
Arrange crescent rolls around the inside of the greased baking dish.
Place brie cheese at the center of the rolls.
Top brie with most of the brown sugar topping. Reserve some for the outside of the pastry.
Fold the crescent rolls over top the brie to cover it.
Brush the pastry with the egg wash. Give it a good coating.
Finally, top the baked brie with your remaining brown sugar topping and bake for 30 minutes. Serve, and enjoy!
