  • 2 Porterhouse Steaks about 1.25 pounds each
  • 2 Tablespoons Sea Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Coarse Ground Pepper


  • Preheat the grill to high heat. Coat each steak, front and back, with about 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon pepper (per steak).

  • Sear the steak for 5 minutes on each side. Remove and let set for at least 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.

  • Drizzle the chimichurri sauce over the top of each steak. Serve and enjoy!

  • Follow this recipe to cook 1.25 pound steaks to medium rare. Use a meat thermometer for best results when finding your preferred degree of doneness.
  • If you want to make some gorgeous diamond grill marks, turn the steak 45 degrees halfway through each side’s grill time.
  • If you have steaks of a different size, make sure to use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature before removing from the grill, as the cook time will be different.
