Amazing Pasta Chips

These viral pasta chips are the perfect appetizer, easily baked in the oven for under 20 minutes. They're crunchy, salty, and perfect for dipping with your favorite sauce!

  • 1 Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Rigatoni pasta
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Vegan parmesan cheese or as much as you like
  • 2 Tablespoons Rosemary
  • Tablespoons Thyme
  • 2 teaspoons Chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  • Cook pasta for 2 minutes longer than the time indicated on the package instructions. Preheat oven to 350°F for at least 5 minutes. In the meantime, line a baking tray with parchment paper and set it aside. Finely chop the rosemary and thyme.

  • Once the pasta cooks, drain the water and place the drained pasta noodles in a mixing bowl. Add a couple of spoons of olive oil, salt and pepper to taste, freshly chopped thyme and rosemary, and vegan Parmesan cheese, and mix until the pasta is completely coated.

  • Place the pasta on the baking tray (make sure they don’t touch each other). Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown - try one or two to make sure they're crispy!

  • Once ready, top with chili flakes and more vegan parmesan cheese. Serve with your favorite sauce!

Notes

  • Salt the pasta water: Adding just a bit of salt during the boiling process really brings out the flavor in pasta!
  • Make it your own: Pasta chips are so versatile - make them with any of your favorite seasonings!
