2teaspoonsGarlic Powder
2teaspoonsGround Black Pepper
2teaspoonsSalt
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for a few minutes while you prepare the wings. Pat chicken wings dry with a paper towel.
1 pound Chicken Wings
In a large mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil to coat them evenly.
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
Sprinkle the lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, and salt evenly over the wings. Toss the wings again to ensure they are well coated with the seasoning. You may want to press down the seasoning to make sure it sticks.
2 Tablespoons Lemon Pepper Seasoning, 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, ½ teaspoon salt
Place the seasoned chicken wings inside the air fryer in a single layer. Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket or tray. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The exact cooking time may vary depending on the size of your wings and the specific air fryer model you're using. The wings should be crispy and golden brown when done and will have an internal temperature of at least 165°F as read by a meat thermometer.
Once the wings are cooked to your desired level of crispiness and have reached a safe internal temperature, remove them from your air fryer.
If you want to enhance the lemon flavor, you can grate some fresh lemon zest over the hot wings just before serving! Serve with your favorite dipping sauce for wings, and enjoy!
Notes
Pat wings dry before seasoning for better spice adherence and crispiness.
Toss wings well in seasoning for even flavor.
Preheat air fryer for even cooking and crispiness.
Flip wings halfway for even crispiness.
Use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
Keep cooked wings warm in a low-temp oven if cooking in batches.
Avoid nonstick spray in the air fryer to protect the basket's nonstick coating.
