Pumpkin Empanadas

Filling pumpkin puree butter dark brown sugar egg ground cinnamon ground cloves

These sweet empanadas use simple ingredients and are so delicious!

Mix pumpkin, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and cloves over medium heat. When it thickens, remove from heat and let cool then add the egg.

Combine the dough ingredients in a food processor. Process and then refrigerate.

Roll the dough and cut out circles. Add the filling then fold into a half-moon shape and close it tightly.

Arrange on a baking tin. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle brown sugar on top.

Bake for 20-30 minutes at 350°F. Serve and enjoy!
