Mix pumpkin, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and cloves over medium heat. When it thickens, remove from heat and let cool then add the egg.
Combine the dough ingredients in a food processor. Process and then refrigerate.
Roll the dough and cut out circles. Add the filling then fold into a half-moon shape and close it tightly.
Arrange on a baking tin. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle brown sugar on top.
