Heat the grill to the highest heat setting, and form the beef into plump patties about 1 inch larger in diameter than your buns. Press an indent into each patty's center.
2 lbs Wagyu ground beef
Right before you place them on the grill, season each side generously with salt and pepper. It's hard to over-salt these burgers!
Salt and pepper
Place the burgers on the grill and close the lid, then let them cook for 5 minutes without touching them. Open the lid, flip, and add cheese if desired, then close the lid and cook another 4-5 minutes.
Cheese slices
Remove the burgers from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes. Then place the patties on buns with the bacon and your favorite toppings, and enjoy!

Notes
Wagyu beef is naturally incredibly tender and flavorful, meaning that they're incredibly hard to overcook! Even a well-done burger will still be tender and juicy.
Always remember to salt the patties! Salt is an important aspect of the flavor, and will help form a lovely, crunchy crust on the surface of the meat.
The most important thing about grilling burgers is not touching the burgers once they start cooking. Every time you move the burgers, they'll lose some of that incredible, flavorful juiciness. Flip them only once!
Any topping you like is great for Wagyu burgers, but I recommend not over-loading them! The beef is so flavorful that these burgers are at their best when the natural beef flavor can shine.
