Add your asparagus to a shallow bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until the asparagus spears are evenly coated.
1 Tablespoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, ¼ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, 1 pound fresh asparagus spears
Grab 3-4 asparagus spears and wrap with bacon. You should have about 6-8 bundles of bacon-wrapped asparagus.
6-8 strips bacon
Place the asparagus bundles in your air fryer basket/tray (do not overcrowd - this may need to be done in a few batches!) and air fryer at 360°F for 25-30 minutes, until the bacon is cooked to your liking and the asparagus is fork-tender.
Remove from the air fryer and top with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Serve and enjoy!

Notes
Be sure not to overcrowd your air fryer. If you do, your bacon-wrapped asparagus will not cook properly. Cook in batches if necessary.
Light olive oil has a higher smoke point than extra virgin olive oil, so I recommend you use it. But, you can also use avocado oil.
I recommend trimming asparagus with a knife and avoiding snapping it. Snapping the stalks can remove edible parts, too! You will get more out of your asparagus by slicing off the woody ends instead.
Remember that using thinner cut bacon will change the cooking time. Keep an eye on the asparagus bundles if your bacon is not thick-cut.
