Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese Grated; or Cotija Cheese (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Chipotle Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Cilantro or Dried Coriander; optional
  • 1 Tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Cane Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Flake Sea Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Zest

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together all of the ingredients. Use immediately as instructed below or store for up to 2 weeks; it may be stored longer if leaving out the Parmesan.
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder, 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 3 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, 1 Tablespoon Chipotle Powder, 1 Tablespoon Dried Cilantro, 1 Tablespoon Paprika, 1 Tablespoon Cane Sugar, 1 teaspoon Flake Sea Salt, 1 Tablespoon Lime Zest
  • Cook corn to your preference, then season with the spice mixture. For added richness, use a little butter. You can also stir it into a bowl of shaved corn!

Notes

  • I recommend grilling or roasting the corn. Grilling it without the husk is ideal for those delicious grill marks!
  • You can leave out the cilantro if you don't like it; it will still taste delicious!
  • This recipe is great for sprucing up leftover corn on the cob! Just reheat the corn in the microwave or oven, then add the seasoning.
  • Looking for more uses? Mix this seasoning into eggs, spread it on avocado toast, or slather it on roasted veggies! I also love to use it as a zesty popcorn seasoning.
  • Use about 2 teaspoons per 1 cob of corn.
