Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well to combine.
4 Tablespoons tomato paste, 2 Tablespoons white vinegar, 1 teaspoon dried mustard, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon salt, ¾ teaspoon basil, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder
Spread half the glaze over the meatloaf before baking.
Remove the meatloaf halfway through the bake time and add the rest of the glaze.
Notes
To cut down on sodium, you can use reduced sodium tomato paste.
I recommend making a double batch and using the extra glaze as a sauce! Just thin it out with water before pouring it over your meatloaf slices.
If you want a little more sweetness, you can add a low-carb sweetener option such as monk fruit or coconut sugar. Or, if you're not concerned about carbs, you can add regular white sugar or brown sugar.
Feel free to customize by adding more flavors! I like adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce, my favorite BBQ sauce, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley!
