Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 Tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 Tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon basil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well to combine.
4 Tablespoons tomato paste, 2 Tablespoons white vinegar, 1 teaspoon dried mustard, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon salt, ¾ teaspoon basil, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Spread half the glaze over the meatloaf before baking.
  • Remove the meatloaf halfway through the bake time and add the rest of the glaze.

Notes

  • To cut down on sodium, you can use reduced sodium tomato paste.
  • I recommend making a double batch and using the extra glaze as a sauce! Just thin it out with water before pouring it over your meatloaf slices.
  • If you want a little more sweetness, you can add a low-carb sweetener option such as monk fruit or coconut sugar. Or, if you're not concerned about carbs, you can add regular white sugar or brown sugar.
  • Feel free to customize by adding more flavors! I like adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce, my favorite BBQ sauce, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley!
