30 minutes before cooking, remove the steak from the fridge and cut into 1-inch cubes. Place in a bowl or bag and toss in Worcestershire sauce to marinate.
8 oz New York Strip steak, 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Cube the potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
2 medium Potatoes
Add half the butter to a cast-iron skillet over Medium high heat.
4 Tablespoons Butter
Once the butter has melted, add the steak cubes and season them with half the steak seasoning. Cook for 2 minutes per side, until nicely seared. Remove to rest.
2 Tablespoons Steak seasoning
Melt the remaining butter in the skillet and add the potatoes, then season with the remaining steak seasoning. Cook for 15 minutes, until they're fork tender and crispy on all sides.
Add the steak back tot he skillet until sizzling, and serve!

Feel free to adjust the marinade to your tastes! Worcestershire sauce alone is plenty flavorful, but you can also add olive oil, soy sauce, or your favorite steak sauce.
I highly recommend using a compound butter instead of plain butter! To make one, just mix some fresh herbs into the butter such as rosemary, thyme, and oregano. Fresh garlic is also an incredible addition; who doesn't like garlic steak and potatoes?
While you can use any pan for this, a cast iron skillet is by far the ideal. Cast iron will do the best job searing the steak and capturing the flavors of the dish.
Once you've served the steak and potatoes, you can splash a little red wine and chicken broth in the pan to de-glaze it and use it as a quick and easy sauce!
