Ingredients

Thai Chicken Meatballs

  • 1 lbs ground chicken or turkey
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek or other chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 2 green onion finely sliced
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • oil spray for cooking

Dipping Sauce

  • ½ teaspoon sambal oelek
  • 2 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 430F. 
  • Combine meatball ingredients in a large bowl. 
  • Take 1 tablespoon of mixture, and roll into 24 even sized balls. 
  • Place meatballs on a baking tray lined with foil, and spray with a little cooking spray. OR place meatballs on a wire rack in a deep baking tray and spray with oil. 
  • Cook for 20-25 minutes, until meatballs are lightly browned on the outside, and fully cooked in the middle.
