Ham Fried Rice
One of my favorite go-to easy family recipes is fried rice. It is so easy to throw together a quick meal using day-old rice and leftovers, and even though it takes less than 30 minutes to make, it always tastes so good.
Fried rice is the perfect meal for using up whatever you have leftover in the fridge, including leftover ham, and is the best way to use leftover rice. To make it even easier, my recipe uses a mixture of frozen peas and corn in addition to fresh green onions, garlic, and eggs.
The best part about this ham fried rice is that it’s versatile. If you want to add more veggies like carrots, chopped green beans, or mushrooms, or extra sauces and seasoning like sesame oil, you can. You can even make this into fried cauliflower rice for a lower carb option!
And, at the end of the meal, cleanup is easy – you’ll only need to wash one pan. Enjoy!
Fried Rice with Ham Ingredients
- White rice, cooked; jasmine rice is great for fried rice
- Ham, chopped or diced; if you don’t have leftovers, you can use store-bought cubed ham

- Garlic, minced
- Olive oil; you can also use other vegetable oils
- Green onions, chopped
