What a week it’s been!
I am exhausted, but also giddy with excitement. As I sit and write this newsletter, Ron is heading to pick up my sister-in-law and my brother-in-law. We are so thrilled to have them visit! I love when the four of us get together – it’s always so exciting and so much fun reminiscing.
This past week was full of love and happiness. We went to brunch with Ronnie, Julia, and friends to celebrate Julia becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. The brunch was so special, because we could catch up with Ronnie’s best friend and wife. Ron and I enjoy keeping up with all the kids’ friends!
After brunch, we met up with Reis and Jordin at their new home. It was finally moving day for them! Their house is so adorable, and we couldn’t be more proud and happy for them. All their friends pitched in and made the move super smooth for them. Our kids have great friends, and I love that for them!
Everyone was thrilled when I showed up with a big batch of Sausage, Peppers and Onions with rolls and chips. After a hard day of lifting and moving furniture, this was a much needed reprieve!
This is the easiest recipe in the world. I just looked at my blog and realized I’ve never shared it with you! How can that be? Reis loved it so much he said he’s going to add it to their weekly rotation. I have a surprise for you with this recipe – there is no red sauce, but it’s truly amazing!
I got up early this morning to prepare for the visit by making a big batch of pulled pork in the slow cooker. This is always my go-to when we have visitors. My house smells amazing right now, and I can’t wait to make the most out of my pulled pork leftovers!
They’re coming down the driveway now! I can’t wait for the fun to begin – I’ll tell you about it all next week!
