You can make this mug brownie recipe in the oven or in the microwave. If baking, preheat the oven to 350℉ and bake for about 14 minutes. Make sure to use an oven-proof mug or dish. If microwaving, microwave for 1 minute.

- In a coffee mug or other large mug, mix vegetable oil and cocoa powder until you have a thick, chocolatey liquid.
- Add in salt and sugar and thoroughly mix through until smooth.
- Using a fork, thoroughly mix in 1 egg.
- Carefully stir in flour and baking powder. Thoroughly mix together.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Microwave for 1 minute or place in the oven at 350 degrees F for 14 minutes. The brownie in a mug will rise, then sink a little bit, and should still be wet to the touch.

- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 tablespoon flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoon milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoon white chocolate chips optional
- vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream to serve
