Spring is in the air- and this one feels more special than ever.
After spending 30 years in Florida, Ron and I are soaking in every cool morning and warm afternoon here in the North Georgia mountains. Each day, we’re amazed by the trees bursting with new life- it’s like nature is putting on a show just for us. There’s something magical about witnessing the seasons change again, and it’s reminding us how beautiful it is to slow down and really see the world around us.
This week has just been glorious. Two of my dear friends- Lucille and Linda, whom I met in our first Florida neighborhood over 30 years ago- came to visit, and my heart is still whole from our time together. It had been over 20 years since we’d last seen Linda, and what a gift it was to catch up, explore Tallulah Falls, do a little shopping, and just be together again.
Lucille and Linda are decorators, and they gave me the gentle nudge I needed to finally start putting the finishing touches on First Hole Haven. They helped me style and shop, and I’m so filled with gratitude for their love, support, and laughter.
Waking up with them in my home, sipping coffee, and sharing a cozy breakfast of cheese and sausage casserole and avocado toast on sourdough- those are the moments I’ll cherish forever.
I’m in my feel-good era, and boy, does it feel good.

Easter Brunch
There’s so much I’m looking forward to this season- and with Easter around the corner, I’m deep into planning a brunch filled with my kids’ favorite dishes. Gathering around the table with them is one of life’s greatest gifts.
If you’re planning your own Easter brunch, here are a few Sunday Supper favorites to inspire your table:
🌸 Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole – Easy, cheesy, and feeds a crowd.
🌿 Make Ahead Scalloped Potatoes – Fresh, light, and perfect alongside ham.
🥂 Berry Baked French Toast – A sweet showstopper that everyone loves.
🍊 Mimosas – Because brunch calls for bubbles and I am loving adding orange sherbet instead of only OJ.
Let’s savor this season together. Whether you’re cooking for many or just a few, may your Sunday be filled with joy, warmth, and the kind of connection that only a shared meal brings.
With love from our mountain home to yours,
Isabel
