Happy Sunday, friends! How was your week?
This week has been a dream. So blissful! You know how much I love farmer’s markets, right? Well, I do! In Florida, I visited them almost weekly, but I found that many of the local markets don’t actually carry locally produced goods. Womp womp.
Not the case in Georgia! I am in heaven here. I found a local market that sells everything they produce in season! Farm 328 is a small, family-run farm here in Martin, GA. It is the cutest place and has a very large selection, including seasonal vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, honey, and homemade soap.
Pam, the owner and farmer, was lovely to chat with, and proud of everything they produced. I left there with a big bag of arugula, which Ron and I enjoyed with my favorite burrata salad and a glass of wine when he got home from golf. It was so fresh and peppery!
I have never in my entire life tasted sugar snap peas as sweet as the ones at Farm 328. I had to fight off Kev and Lip from eating them all, and if you tasted one, you’d understand why! They were so incredibly good that I made a batch of my chipotle ranch dip just to dip them in.
While I was there, I also picked up fresh spinach, homemade sorrel pesto, and farm-fresh eggs. After trying the pesto, I realized I really need to work on more pesto recipes to share with all of you!
If you haven’t tried farm-fresh eggs, by the way, I encourage you to seek out a local farm and pick some up. Ron and I have been enjoying out-of-this-world creamy, cheesy scrambled eggs every morning just because we can’t get enough of those farm eggs.
And of course, I couldn’t resist the farmer’s market staple: homemade soaps and dish towels. They’re only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and I know I’ll be back every week! Next time, I’m thinking I might pick up a few plants to start my garden with, but I’m a little bit intimidated. What do you think? Should I go for it?
For Sunday dinner, we enjoyed steamed snow crabs with garlic butter and mayo mustard sauce. It’s been a while since we’ve had this dinner, and I can’t even begin to tell you how delicious it was!

Afterwards, Ron and I decided to relax in the hot tub, and apparently, the dogs thought that was a great idea, too. To our surprise, Lip got a running start, flew up the steps, and belly-flopped into the tub with us! Here he is pouting after we made him get out of the tub.
Have a great week, friends!
