Wishing you a holiday full of joy, peace, and good food shared with the ones you love. Whether you're setting a fancy table or keeping it cozy and simple, I hope this weekend brings a little extra sweetness to your home.

We all have that one dish- the one that made us feel like maybe, just maybe, we belonged in the kitchen. For me, it was pink pasta.
It wasn’t fancy. It didn’t require hours of prep or a complicated ingredient list. But the first time I made it, something clicked. I watched my family go back for seconds, then thirds. I saw smiles around the table. And I thought, I can do this. I can feed the people I love and create something that brings them joy.
That simple creamy pink sauce- a swirl of tomato sauce and cream with just the right seasoning- became a staple in our house. It’s the kind of meal that feels comforting and special all at once, the kind you can whip up on a busy weeknight or serve for Sunday Supper with a big salad and crusty bread.
It’s so good that I even include it in our holiday meals, and my family loves it. This Easter, I’ll be serving pink pasta right alongside our favorite grilled ham recipe. It’s the perfect pairing of savory, creamy, and just a touch unexpected.
If you’re more of a watch-it-done kind of cook, I’ve got you- let’s cook together! 🎥
Do you remember the dish that made you feel like a real cook? I’d love to hear about it. Send me a note or share in the comments- we might just feature your story in an upcoming newsletter!
With love and pasta,
Isabel
