How to Store Fry Seasoning Recipe
Keep fry seasoning in a tight-lidded jar. This French fry seasoning recipe uses Parmesan cheese, so it is best stored in the refrigerator.
When ready to use again, hold the lid down and give it a good shake in the jar to break up any pieces that might clump together.

Simply Amazing. I decided to make this, and it was delicious. At first you don’t taste the spice, it tastes nice and cheesy, then you get this wonderful tame taste of spice. Thank you for this recipe!

Karen Ackerman says
I have no doubt it was listed, but I did not see how long this recipe lasts in the refrigerator. Please respond and thank you.
Em Beitel says
Hi Karen! Grated Parmesan that’s sold unrefrigerated lasts about 10 to 12 months in the refrigerator, so you should be able to keep this seasoning for some time. We recommend using it up before then, but most likely you won’t have to worry about it going bad. 🙂
Loretta says
Does it need to be put in the fridge since there is cheese in it?
Em Beitel says
Hi Loretta! Yes, this should be refrigerated. It will last 10-12 months or so, about as long as grated Parmesan would.
Tracey says
is is (1) full teaspoon of cayenne or 1/8 teaspoon?
In the list of ingredients it says 1 teaspoon but in the instructions it says 1/8 teaspoon. Thanks.
Em Beitel says
Hi Tracey! Thank you for noting this. It would be 1/8, but you can adjust for spice level.
