Pot Roast Sandwiches Ingredients
- Leftover pot roast: Use your favorite pot roast recipe – my chuck roast beef is always a winner! It’s my most popular recipe, and for good reason. This sandwich is amazing made with it.
- Sliced bread: You can use your favorite bread, but I recommend using a thick bread that will hold up well to dipping in au jus and the juices of the pot roast.
- Sliced cheese: I use American cheese for my pot roast sandwiches, but you can use any cheese you prefer, like Swiss.
- Caramelized onions: Try making my homemade caramelized onions to pair with this sandwich!
- Butter: I recommend using unsalted butter so you don’t over-salt the sandwich.
- Grated parmesan cheese: A little bit of parmesan adds so much flavor!
