Happy Sunday,
Super Bowl Sunday has always been one of those days that just feels special in our house.

Last year, our home was absolutely full — kids everywhere, noise everywhere, food everywhere — all of us gathered together cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. There was laughter, a little friendly trash talk, and so much joy packed into one day. Those are the moments that stay with you.
This year will look a little different. The Eagles won’t be on the field, and not everyone will be under our roof — but you know what? Super Bowl Sunday is still one of our favorite celebrations. Because for us, it’s never really been just about the game.
It’s about slowing down for one afternoon, gathering around the TV (and the table), and sharing food that brings everyone together — no matter who you’re rooting for.
And if there’s one thing that must be on our Super Bowl menu every single year, it’s chicken wings.

Crispy, saucy, finger-licking good wings are the ultimate game-day food. They’re easy, they’re crowd-pleasing, and they keep everyone hovering around the kitchen — exactly how I like it. And, pair them with homemade buffalo or BBQ sauce!
These are my favorite chicken wing recipes to anchor your Super Bowl spread:
- Classic crispy wings — perfectly seasoned and baked until golden.
- Sweet & spicy wings — just enough heat to keep things interesting.
- Garlic butter wings — rich, cozy, and always the first to disappear.
- Deep fried wings — crispy and juicy every single time.
- Crock-pot wings — perfect set-it-and-forget-it recipe.

They’re all simple, make-ahead friendly, and perfect whether you’re hosting a full house or keeping things low-key.
Because that’s the beauty of days like this — whether your living room is packed or it’s just a few of you on the couch, the tradition still matters. The food still matters. The memories still matter.
So this Sunday, fire up the oven (or the air fryer), grab your favorite wings, and enjoy the game, the commercials, the halftime show — and most of all, the people you’re sharing it with.
However you’re celebrating, I hope your Super Bowl Sunday is full of good food, great company, and a little extra joy around the table.
Happy cooking and happy Super Bowl Sunday,
Isabel
P.S. If you’re team wings (like me), comment below and tell me your favorite flavor — I’m always looking for my next game-day obsession!
