    Pizza Monkey Bread Recipe

When my kids were growing up, we always looked forward to our pizza and movie nights. As they got older and it became easier for me to plan dinner, I started coming up with homemade alternatives to ordering pizza instead: like pepperoni pizza dip, or best of all this pizza monkey bread recipe!

If you have yet to try to pull apart pizza bread, I guarantee you will become as obsessed with it as I am. It’s ready to bake in 10 minutes or less using a bundt pan, and out of the oven in 40. Plus, refrigerator biscuit dough makes the perfect pizza dough – it’s so buttery and flavorful!

No need for cooking spray, butter, or olive oil for this recipe. It uses Oléico® High Oleic Safflower Oil, which is a neutral oil with high oleic acid content. This means it’s filled with monounsaturated fatty acid, which is considered to be a healthy fat, while also not overpowering the pizza!

Use your favorite pizza toppings and get ready to serve the perfect crowd-pleaser!

    Monkey Pizza Bread Tips

    • Although this recipe calls for pepperoni and marinara pizza sauce, you can make this pizza monkey bread in any flavor you like using your favorite pizza toppings. You could even try making a veggie supreme pizza with mushrooms, olives, and spinach, made exactly the same way!
    • This is the perfect game-day appetizer. Dish it out on a serving platter and offer dips for your guests, like our Oléico® High Oleic Safflower Oil dipping sauce, ranch dressing, blue cheese, or even alfredo sauce.
    • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

    Pizza Monkey Bread FAQs

How do you cut bread to pull apart?

Use a serrated bread knife to cut the pepperoni pizza monkey bread apart. Because it uses biscuit dough, it should come apart easily.

    Can you reheat pull-apart bread?

You can reheat pull-apart bread by wrapping it in aluminum foil and baking it in the oven at 350°F for enough time to melt the cheese, approximately 10 minutes. Or, add individual servings to the microwave in 1-minute intervals until heated through.

How to Make Oil Dipping Sauce

    1. To a bowl, add Oléico® High Oleic Safflower Oil, black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, dried parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, dried rosemary, coarse sea salt, and red pepper flakes. Mix to combine completely.
    2. If desired, top with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve as a dipping sauce for pizza pull-apart bread.

    Oléico® High Oleic Safflower Oil

If you have yet to use Oléico® High Oleic Safflower Oil, you’re in for a treat. In addition to having a high smoke point that makes it perfect for everything from baking to deep frying, it’s a wholesome, neutral oil with a mild flavor that complements whatever you use it in.

Plus, it’s a great source of Omega-9 fatty acids, and it’s processed and extracted without any chemicals, so you can feel great about it, too.

See the Oléico® website for more details – or find it in any grocery store!
