Happy Sunday!
This week was such a treat — I spent a few days in Greenville, South Carolina, and I am officially in love with this city. Greenville is truly a foodie’s dream! From cozy little cafés to incredible restaurants, everywhere we turned there was something delicious to discover. I always feel so inspired when I visit cities like this, there’s just something about being surrounded by great food and vibrant energy that gets my creative wheels turning in the kitchen.
What made this trip extra special is that it was the perfect girlfriends getaway. My dear friend Dawn invited me to join her, and we filled our days with laughter, long walks in the beautiful fall weather, and yes… a little self-care too. Let’s just say our vitamin C masks were the perfect way to recharge after all that exploring and eating!
And oh, the fall weather — it couldn’t have been more perfect. Crisp mornings, golden afternoons, and evenings that made us want to linger outside just a little longer. There’s something about this season that makes me feel both grateful and inspired. Every walk we took felt like a reminder to slow down, breathe, and soak it all in.
Of course, no fall trip is complete without a cozy dessert waiting at home, and for me, that means homemade apple crisp. It’s warm, sweet, and spiced just right, with a buttery oat topping that makes the whole house smell like fall. Honestly, it’s the perfect dessert to share after a day of exploring or to enjoy with a hot cup of coffee on a crisp morning.
Trips like this remind me why I love what I do — food and friendship have a way of filling our hearts in the most beautiful way. I can’t wait to keep sharing more inspiration with you as the season unfolds.
With love,
Isabel

- Sunday: Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin
- Monday: Pork Fried Rice
- Tuesday: Pork Quesadilla
- Wednesday: Pan Fried Chicken Breast
- Thursday: Chicken Caesar Salad
- Friday: Chicken Alfredo
- Saturday: Fiesta Chicken
🔪 Prep Plan:
On your prep day, cook your big batch of honey garlic pork tenderloin! Once cooked and cooled, slice or shred the pork and portion it out for Monday’s pork fried rice and Tuesday’s pork quesadillas. Store each portion in an airtight container in the fridge.
While the pork is cooking, prep your chicken! Cook a big batch of chicken breasts. Keep some whole for Wednesday’s pan fried chicken, slice a portion for Thursday’s chicken caesar salad, cube or shred some for Friday’s chicken alfredo, and season the rest for Saturday’s fiesta chicken. Store each portion separately in airtight containers.
While the pork is cooking, prep your toppings!
- Cook a pot of rice — you’ll use it for Monday’s pork fried rice and can save extra for Saturday’s fiesta chicken.
- Wash and chop lettuce for Thursday’s caesar salad.
- Shred cheese and prep toppings like peppers, onions, or green onions for easy grab-and-go meals.
